Travel has never been simply a destination for Joshua Schwartz—it has been a lifelong passion and a way of seeing the world.
For more than five decades, Joshua has explored the world by land and sea, sailing on more than 160 cruises aboard 50+ ships. His first voyage, in 1965 aboard Holland America Line’s legendary SS Rotterdam, sparked a lifelong passion that became a career spanning travel, publishing, photography, and marketing.
In 1978, Joshua founded The Philadelphia Travel Exchange, helping thousands of travelers discover the world. He has since worked with leading cruise lines, luxury hospitality brands, tourism organizations, and real estate developers, combining strategic marketing expertise with firsthand knowledge of travel.
Photography has remained central to his journeys, capturing the landscapes, architecture, cultures, and people that make destinations memorable. As founder of TributeStudios, he has also produced beautifully designed books celebrating architecture, history, destinations, and remarkable places.
Today, Joshua is founder of Site2Sea, a next-generation cruise company focused on personalized recommendations and expert guidance. Drawing on decades of experience, he curates exceptional cruise experiences ranging from luxury and expedition voyages to distinctive group journeys.
Through travel, photography, publishing, and cruising, Joshua continues to inspire others to explore the world—with the belief that the greatest journeys are measured not by the miles traveled, but by the stories and memories they create.

Sven-Erik Knoff is an internationally awarded Norwegian filmmaker and photographer whose work is defined by powerful visual storytelling, meticulous craftsmanship, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of place.
As founder and CEO of FotoKnoff, Sven-Erik Knoff works across photography, film, branding, design, web, and aerial cinematography, creating distinctive visual experiences for clients across a wide range of industries.
Before establishing his career in photography and film, Sven-Erik Knoff spent many years working across hospitality, wine, tourism and destination marketing. His background includes more than 16 years as a professional chef, experience with Seabourn Cruise Line, four years in the wine industry, and roles with NHO Reiseliv and Visit Trondheim.
His career spans commercial productions, documentary filmmaking, brand storytelling, and cinematic photography, with credits including productions for NRK, BBC, Apple TV+, and Motion Blur. In 2017, his filmmaking was recognized internationally when he received the prestigious Black Dolphin Award in Cannes.
Sven-Erik Knoff brings an especially distinctive perspective to the site2sea Norway experience. Before dedicating himself to film and photography, he spent more than 16 years as a professional chef, with culinary training and experience at acclaimed kitchens including Seabourn Cruise Line and Fornebu Hovedgård. That background has shaped his extraordinary attention to detail, composition, rhythm, atmosphere, and storytelling.
